📸✨ Discover the Vibrant Beauty of North Morocco – 9-Day Photography Tour! 🇲🇦

Step into a world of breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and dynamic culture as we explore the stunning northern region of Morocco. Unlike the rustic south, the north offers rolling green hills, coastal vistas, and ancient walled towns, all set against the backdrop of the azure Mediterranean and Atlantic waters.

📷 Led by award-winning photographer Andy Yee & landscape astrophotographer Marc Rassel, this immersive workshop is designed to refine your photographic vision as we capture the essence of Morocco’s cosmopolitan cities, historic medinas, and picturesque landscapes.

Day 1: Casablanca

The workshop starts in Casablanca, the art deco heart of Morocco and also home to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the most impressive in the world.

Day 2: Rabat

Rabat, the capital of Morocco, contrasts the modern development and the classic traditional charm on a coastal seascape. Wooden fishing boats still traverse the river against the quaint neighborhood of the Kasbah Oudaya. The city includes a full range of monuments as well as architectural and decorative elements from various dynasties

Day 3 + 4: Asilah - Tangier

We explore the international art hub of Asilah and move on to Tangier, a city rich in creative history and street photography opportunities. Serving as the European gateway to Africa, its diverse influences make Tangier unique in Morocco.

Day 5 + 6: Chefchaouen

The Blue Peal of Morocco, Chefchaouen, is one of the most photogenic cities in the world. Opportunities will surround us as the entire town is awash in blue from the streets to homes. We explore within and take in views of the town from its surrounds.

Day 7 + 8: Volubilis -Meknes - Fes - Middle Atlas

The ruined Roman city of Volubilis allows us to explore the UNESCO World Heritage site for beautifully preserved mosaics amongst the surrounds of the rolling green hills.

The Middle Atlas Mountains stretching through the north are a breathtaking range of rolling hills and peaks. They are known for their stunning natural beauty, dense forests, and sparkling lakes.

The ancient medina of Fes is a labyrinth of possibilities for photographers. It provides boundless insight into its colorful origins as the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. The Fes tannery and its many souks offer a window into the history of Morocco.

Day 9: Casablanca

We head back to Casablanca for our final sessions and will try and allocate some time to review and edit some images from the tour. Participants are encouraged to make bookings to depart from 6th April onwards.

We believe capturing the image is only half the journey. During the workshop, we’ll dedicate time to post-processing so you can turn strong captures into images that truly stand out. Our instructors will work closely with you on image selection, Lightroom and Photoshop workflows, and refining your final edits, helping you create work you’ll be proud to share.

Because this experience centers around the solar eclipse, preparation is critical. Before eclipse day, we’ll make sure everyone is fully prepared from camera settings and exposure strategy to timing and sequencing, so you can approach the moment with confidence instead of stress. Instructors will be on hand throughout the entire process, guiding you step by step to ensure you don’t miss a single phase of this rare opportunity.

This trip is suitable for photographers with basic knowledge through to expert level. Whether you’re refining your fundamentals or pushing for a portfolio-defining image, you’ll be supported at every stage.

Group size is limited to 6 to 8 participants to ensure personal attention. The cost includes 9 nights accommodation, ground transportation, park entrance fees, and all breakfasts.
