We will have the opportunity to refine photographic skills against the backdrop of awe-inspiring landscapes and architectural marvels. Egypt Highlights
1. Nile Cruise: Immerse yourself in opulence as you sail along the legendary Nile River on a luxury cruise. Wake up to breathtaking views and explore ancient temples along the riverbanks.
2. GEM - Grand Egyptian Museum: Be among the first to witness the treasures of ancient Egypt in the Grand Egyptian Museum. Marvel at the artifacts and wonders of the pharaohs in this state-of-the-art facility.
3. Citadel of Salah Eldeen: Visit the iconic Citadel, a medieval Islamic fortification, and explore its historical significance and architectural beauty.
4. Alabaster Mosque: Experience the serenity and grandeur of the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, offering panoramic views of Cairo.
5. Pyramids & Sphinx: Stand in awe before the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Capture the majesty of these ancient wonders, surrounded by the mystique of the desert.
6. Memphis & Sakkara: Travel back in time to the ancient capital of Memphis and the Step Pyramid of Sakkara, showcasing the evolution of pyramid construction.
7. Old Cairo: Wander through the charming streets of Old Cairo, discovering its historic churches, synagogues, and mosques, each with its own captivating story.

Our last day of the workshop we will return to Cairo where you can choose to stay and explore Egypt further, head home or join us for the Jordan workshop beginning 20th May 2025!
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Sunset shoot at Great Pyramids
Day 2: Cairo Tour Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to see a vast collection of Egyptian artifacts, including King Tutankhamun's complete collection. Afterward, explore the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramids of Khafra & Menkaura, and the Great Sphinx.
Day 3: Memphis, Sakkara, and Old Cairo Discover the religious history of Cairo with visits to the El Muallaqa (Hanging) Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Afterward, travel to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, followed by a visit to the Sakkara necropolis, home to some of Egypt's oldest pyramids and tombs.
Day 4: Cairo Tour Explore the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), which showcases 50,000 artifacts from throughout Egyptian history. Afterward, visit the Citadel of Salah Eldeen, home to the Alabaster Mosque. Conclude the day with a free tour and shopping at the historic Khan Al-Khalili Market.
Day 5: Travel to Aswan & Nile Cruise Fly from Cairo to Aswan and board a luxurious Nile Cruise. The cruise excursion begins with a visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Philae Temple. Optional Tour: Sound and Light show at Philae Temple
Day 6: Kom Ombo & Edfu Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. Continue sailing to Edfu. Optional Tour: Abu Simbel by bus
Day 7: Edfu & Luxor East Bank Arrive in Edfu and visit the Temple of Edfu. Return to the cruise and sail to Luxor. In the afternoon, visit Luxor's East Bank, including the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Optional Tour: Sound and Light Show inside Karnak Temple.
Day 8: Luxor West Bank & Return to Cairo Check out of the cruise. Visit Luxor's West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, take a flight from Luxor back to Cairo. Optional Tour: Hot Air Balloon ride
Day 9: Departure You will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
Egypt Arrangements
This itinerary emphasizes a balance between capturing moments in the field and refining them through post-processing, ensuring participants leave with both a skill set for shooting in various conditions and expertise in editing their images to perfection in Lightroom and Photoshop.
The trip is suitable for the photographer with basic knowledge through to expert level.
Group size will be 6-10 people. Cost will cover 8 nights in luxury 4-5 star hotels or luxury cruise accommodation during our trip. All private vehicle ground transport, park entrances fees and all breakfast.
All rooms on the workshop will be provided as dual occupancy, a single supplement is offered on a limited basis, please request upon booking.

Remaining workshop tuition amount will be due 60 days before workshop. A reminder invoice will be sent out 90 days before the workshop commencement

Andy Yee is a professional photographer who specializes in travel/tourism, architecture and commercial projects. He is a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate and the winner of the Sony Alpha Landscape Award. Andy has travelled extensively in all seasons of the year and worked on projects with several tourism agencies and publications.
