Home of the famous lost Rose city of Petra and the vast martian landscape of Wadi Rum, the 6 day Jordan photography workshop offers you some of the most breathtaking landscapes and monuments the world has ever seen.
Lead by award-winning official Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Andy Yee, this small group workshop will have an itinerary brimming with a variety of opportunities unique to only Jordan.
Accomodation will be 5 star and booked based upon luxury options available, location convenience and comfort. This tour will provide more of the luxury variety of hotels and glamping (luxury camping) in the Wadi Rum desert.

Jordan Petra Itinerary
Embark on an extraordinary photo tour of Jordan, a country where history, culture, and natural wonders seamlessly converge. Our journey begins in the vibrant heart of the capital, Amman, where ancient citadels and modern cityscapes coexist. Capture the juxtaposition of old and new during our Amman City Tour, weaving through bustling markets and capturing the timeless beauty of the Amman Citadel.
Next, we venture to the biblical landscapes of Madaba and Mount Nebo, where panoramic vistas unfold, offering breathtaking photo opportunities. Immerse yourself in the mosaic-adorned charm of Madaba before standing atop Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have glimpsed the Promised Land.
The rose-red city of Petra awaits, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a photographer's dream. Wander through the narrow Siq, framed by towering cliffs, and capture the first glimpse of the iconic Treasury bathed in golden light. Explore the intricately carved facades of the Royal Tombs and the Monastery, each telling tales of ancient civilizations.
Our journey then leads us to the otherworldly landscapes of Wadi Rum, a surreal desert expanse punctuated by towering sandstone formations. Camp under the starlit desert sky and hone your night photography skills, capturing the ethereal beauty of the desert after dark.
Finally, experience the buoyant serenity of the Dead Sea, capturing the surreal landscape where the sea meets the desert. Float effortlessly in its mineral-rich waters and capture the mesmerizing play of light on the salt-crusted shores.

Jordan Petra Arrangements
Getting the photo into the card is only half of the battle. During the workshop, there will be time to go over post-processing to help you create images that pack a punch. When possible we will sit down with you to assist your selection process, Lightroom and Photoshop workflows and techniques, and develop your best images, so you can showcase the finest Jordan has to offer.
The trip is suitable for the photographer with basic knowledge through to expert level.

To reserve your spot for this workshop, a deposit of $1000 (AUD) can be made via Paypal.
Remaining workshop tuition amount will be due 60 days before workshop. A reminder invoice will be sent out 90 days before the workshop commencement

Andy Yee is a professional photographer who specializes in travel/tourism, architecture and commercial projects. He is a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate and the winner of the Sony Alpha Landscape Award. Andy has travelled extensively in all seasons of the year and worked on projects with several tourism agencies and publications.
